On Rock Creek, the streamer and nymph fishing has been quite good. There are still a few October caddis fluttering around, and the chilly fall weather can leave some room for BWOs and other small mayflies. For dry flies, use October caddis, mahoganies, chubby Chernobyls, stimulators, BWOs, parachute adams, purple hazes, elk hair caddis, and para wulffs. For sub surface patterns use micro stones, pheasant tails, Pat’s rubber legs, San Juan Worms, caddis pupae, double beaded stones and batman nymphs.
