We’ll see what the weather does to Rock Creek this week, but it should be a good local option, like it always is. The recommendation is to keep things below the surface, but don’t be surprised to see a hatch or two come off. For dry flies, use October caddis, mahoganies, chubby Chernobyls, stimulators, BWOs, parachute adams, purple hazes, elk hair caddis, and para wulffs. For sub surface patterns use micro stones, pheasant tails, Pat’s rubber legs, San Juan Worms, caddis pupae, double beaded stones and batman nymphs.
HATCHES: Mahoganies, October caddis, BWOs, midges
FLIES: Prince nymphs, rogue stone, parachute adams, elk hair caddis, hoppers, stoneflies/nymphs, streamers.
