If you’re looking to pay a visit to some lonesome trout up Rock Creek today, don’t forget your coat! With the moisture we have on tap for today, the vast majority of your fishing is going to be on the wetter side of the surface. Using a double nymph rig is going to be, according to Leonard Nimoy, “The most logical decision.” Tossing a double beaded stone, pheasant tail, San Juan worm, egg pattern, micro stone or copper john would all work well . The fishing with dark buggers and other similar junk has been working effectively too. Keep in mind the road is in very poor condition still, so if you’re planning on fishing the upper sections, be prepared to drive in through Philipsburg. Fish long and prosper.
