Rock Creek Fishing Report – 5/24

Blackfoot River Fishing Report - 4/14
Beginning in April, once a week we will post a brief description of a rig we saw during the previous week that had one of our Kingfisher stickers on the window. When you recognize it as being your car described in our hatch report, stop into the shop and pick out 2 dozen nymphs or dries on us!Rock Creek is nearing 3500 cfs, and fast. Anything over 3000 is certifiably dangerous, specifically in reference to floating, so be careful. Keep your wits about you when you’re wading too. The upper end was still producing some fish here-and-there late in the week, but that could change quickly for the worse. If you do go out, toss some Prince nymphs, Double-bead Stones, Pat’s Rubber Legs, etc. Keep them deep and tight to the banks. If you’re really ambitious, give a salmonfly dry a shot.
