 Beginning in April, once a week we will post a brief description of a rig we saw during the previous week that had one of our Kingfisher stickers on the window. When you recognize it as being your car described in our hatch report, stop into the shop and pick out 2 dozen nymphs or dries on us!
Rock Creek has seen a nice drop in flows over the last few days, but it’s still pretty high at right around 3000cfs. As far as local options are concerned, this is probably your best bet, but you’ll need to work hard for them. If you go, search for side channels and braids up at the top end, and throw some Prince nymphs, Double-bead Stones, Pat’s Rubber Legs, etc. Keep them deep and tight to the banks.
