Rock Creek Fishing Report – 7/10

Blackfoot River Fishing Report - 4/1

L-DSC_0745

Rock Creek has now dropped past it’s historical average flow and is getting nothing but more inviting to wade fisherman.  The hotter days are definitely getting the caddis moving in the evenings now too. Golden stones, caddis, and green drakes are the main menu items today. For dry flies, use chubby Chernobyls, stimulators, bullet head stones, half downs, parachute adams, purple hazes and para wulffs. For sub surface patterns use micro stones, pheasant tails, Pat’s rubber legs, San Juan Worms, caddis pupae, double beaded stones and batman nymphs. Streamers have been working well too with big dark bodied junk working best.
