Rock Creek Fishing Report – 7/13

S-13

Rock Creek got a pretty good bump from the rain yesterday but, is on its way back down and still fishable. Nymphing tight to the bank and in the “walking pace water” will be your best bet. For nymphs use San Juan worms, March madness nymphs, DB stones, soft hackle caddis pupae, amber princes, and rubber leg stones. Today has the potential to be a banner day for streamer fishing as well. For streamers try sculpzillas, sheilas, zoo cougars, and flash frys. Late afternoon/evening will be your best bet for dry fly fishing.

HATCHES: Hoppers,Golden stones, BWOs, PMDS, yellow sallies
