Hoot owl restrictions are now lifted

The last couple of days, the creek has cooled off substantially giving the trout a much needed break. The best fishing these days continues to be on the upper 1/2 of the river, but there are good options here and there on the lower river as well. For mid day fishing a hopper-dropper set up has been very productive. Spruce moths, small hoppers, never sink caddis, and terrestrials have all been working well for us.
