Rock Creek Fishing Report – 8/19

L-27

Hoot owl restrictions are now lifted

Rock Creek has dirtied up quite a bit from the recent storm, but should clear up in a day or two. Mornings have still been very productive. The best fishing continues to be on the upper 1/2 of the river, but there are good options here and there on the lower river as well. For mid day fishing a hopper-dropper set up has been very productive. Spruce moths, small hoppers, never sink caddis, and terrestrials have all been working well for us.

HATCHES: golden stones, PMDs, yellow sallies, caddis, spruce moths, hoppers
