Rock creek is still a great all day option right now.  The flows are creeping down and the temps are creeping up but the fishing is holding strong.  Mornings and evenings are a little better than mid day, but you can still be very successful. There are caddis hatches in the evening, and golden stones, PMDs, and yellow sallies available during the rest of the day. For dry flies, use chubby Chernobyls, stimulators, bullet head stones, half downs, parachute adams, purple hazes, elk hair caddis, and para wulffs. For sub surface patterns use micro stones, pheasant tails, Pat’s rubber legs, San Juan Worms, caddis pupae, double beaded stones and batman nymphs. Darker streamers have also been working.
