Rock Creek Fishing Report – 9/28

Blackfoot River Fishing Report

stacy 2

The reports call for rain this weekend. As mentioned in our other hatch reports, BWOs should be the ticket. The colder weather might put the fish down a little bit, just as a heads-up. For dry flies, use chubby Chernobyls, small chew toys, film critiques , BWOs, bullet head stones, parachute adams, purple hazes, elk hair caddis, and hippie stompers. For sub surface patterns use big green machines, pheasant tails, Pat’s rubber legs, San Juan worms, caddis pupae, double beaded stones and panty dropper nymphs.

HATCHES: hoppers, mahoganies, BWOs, caddis, hecubas

FLIES: Prince nymphs, rogue stone, parachute adams, elk hair caddis, hoppers, stoneflies/nymphs, streamers.
