Rock Creek Report – 5/27

REPORT:

This is THE place to be right now . . .from a boat.  Conditions up here are nearly ideal water wise and the fishing has been good to say the least!  The fatties are seeing enough salmonflies even if you’re not and have been more than willing to take the orange dries tight to the banks.  The yellow streamer deal, as always this time of the year, is giving it up too.  Good stuff.  It’s a fast paced game of rowing up here right now, although not nearly what it has been on this day in previous years.  If you have the rowing skills, it’s tough to beat the creek right now short of a trip the the Mo.

1/2 OFF Fridays.  50% Off your 1st dozen nymphs and dries!  Every Friday – Every Week

The first of the salmonflies have been spotted on the lower creek, stock up now and be ready for the next time the sun shines!  Remember, too, that June is big time golden stone and green drake time on Rock Creek!IMG_1815[1]

FLIES: Salmonfly dries of all kinds, yellow or white bunnies/streamers. Brooke’s stones and big princes right off the bottom.
