Rock Creek Report – 6/13

S-11REPORT:

There’s going to be a little bump today from the heavy rain last night, but it shouldn’t be enough to create any issues.  The cloud cover we’re expecting today will also help your dryfly prospects with the green drakes and golden stones.  Salmonflies are creek-wide at this point and will also be a viable alternative.  In the humid weather, however, look for drakes to be “the goods”.  Flows are down about 10 cfs near Clinton compared with 2 days ago, and water clarity is good.  771 cfs means there is some decent wading to be had particularly on the upper river coming in from the Pburg side.

1/2 OFF Fridays.  50% Off your 1st dozen nymphs and dries!  Every Friday – Every Week

FLIES: Salmonfly dries of all kinds, golden stones patterns from giant to yellow sallie varieties, green drakes, caddis

OTHER INFO: You did know, didn’t you, that The Kingfisher is the largest dealer of Simms fishing products in THE ROCKY MOUNTAINS didn’t you?
