Get out your mayfly box, it’s going to be a green drake and PMD kinda day on the creek! Expect to have good shooting top to bottom on Rock Creek today with a flow of 600 cfs near Clinton making for easy wading and semi decent floating (from a proximity to bank buddies perspective). The cloud cover will mean that pretty much all of your well presented, in the ballpark type patterns will get looked at. This goes for subsurface stuff as well as dries. Green drake cripples (cripples of ANY color will work), PMD comparaduns and even size 12 and 14 royal Wulffs should reign supreme. The creek is a no-brainer today.
