Rock Creek Report – 6/9

Clark Fork River Fishing Report - 4/19

DSCN1707REPORT:

The sort of bump thingy that the other rivers have experienced due to the radical warm-up has left the creek pretty much unscathed.  The flow this morning is still a happy rowing and dryfly take inducing 844 cfs  and dropping.  It’s going to be just as good today as it has been recently.  Salmonlfies are still a good bet pretty much creek wide although golden stones and bigger mayfly dries have begun to get consistent attention.  Nymphs and streamers are also working well but hard for most people to put on with dries working as well as they are.  The significantly warmer days have the caddis popping, too, and they can provide some very good evening action after the big bug frenzy of the day has ended.

1/2 OFF Fridays.  50% Off your 1st dozen nymphs and dries!  Every Friday – Every Week

FLIES: Salmonfly dries of all kinds, golden stones patterns from giant to yellow sallie varieties, green drakes, caddis

OTHER INFO: You did know, didn’t you, that The Kingfisher is the largest dealer of Simms fishing products in THE ROCKY MOUNTAINS didn’t you?
